I’m sitting on the futon bed, down in the basement of Aunt Phylis’s house right now waiting for Eli to get out of the shower, so I can get in. We’re leaving really early tomorrow morning, and (cousin) Betsy has offered to drive us to the airport, after the big ‘snaffoo’ with Lil. I’ll come back to that.
We spent the night last night at the Loehrke’s house, and all day today. Mother’s day. It was the most beautiful day of the year so far I think….perhaps I got a bit much sun even, Eli too. Now we’re here and ready for bed. The excitement hasn’t quite setteled for me yet, but I think it will in the morning, when we’re on the flight. It actually feels quite surreal right now.
